Temples in Nepal and Tibet have hundreds of these similar hand carved prayer wheels in bigger form. They are turned clockwise and contain prayers inside the wheel to multiply the prayers with each turn. Size: 4 inch tall. Made by the local newar artisans in Kathmandu Valley.
