.7 oz of each other the 5k and 6k weight the same which is 5oz more than the 4k There is a big jump in size from the 6k to the 8k over 5 ounces Skipped right over the 10k because the 14k is actually lighter ….go figure went with the 18k because I have Saltigas in 4k,6k,8k,14k,20k I was fitting out a boat spread and back up rod setup with the Nomad Offshore and Inshore rod lineup What I like about these reels is the composite construction and they come with power knobs and from what I am hearing solid drags I would of loved to do Saltigas and Zenaqs but my buddies are hard on gear and leave their stuff where their boats are at so its nice to have a full range of rods from inshore to tuna popping
