I have simply given it an oil to bring out the colour more

just the right amount of tarnish to the metal

Bright red, it has holes for the light to shine from. The original Heico fitting was missing, so i have replaced it with another, which is almost identical, but from a modern'Goodnight light' lamp so it has the benefit of having an LED fitting
